President's Message

Hello fellow Barracudas, welcome back to KSC Barracudas 2020! Now that we have the website up and running and a new domain name http://ksccudas.org, we need to start looking to the future, finding new members

Chris Dorris

so that as we stop diving, we have those we can entrust to take care of the Barracudas to keep it alive for a very long time. If you have any ideas let discuss them and maybe come up with a plan to recruit more members.

Data Services

As Chris mentioned, our new website is finally up and running. Granted, it looks identical to the old one. That's because, well, it is. That is, it's the same code, just transplanted to a new web hosting service. There are a lot of things that are out of date and need to be updated. It's in work, so keep checking back on occasion to see what's new.

I'm currently hard at work rebuilding the Photo

Contest Winners page. When I'm done, you'll be able to review contest winners for as many years into the past as I can put up there. I've got winners going back to 2013 in my archives, and I'm sure Dave Ballou will be able to provide more. On tap are an update to the E-Board member profiles, and an archive of past Barracuda Bulletins, to name a few. Look for lots of changes now that we have the space!

Environment

If you didn't get Phil Stasik's email last week here's the scoop: the first Barracuda Island clean up/picnic is scheduled for this coming Saturday, February 22, at 11:00 AM. Plan to meet up with us at Manattee Cove on North Tropical Trail, Merritt Island.
